Known as the largest and most international agricultural machinery event in the Middle East ever since its first inception in 1994, “iran agrofood”  since the year 2006 has been split into three specialized trade shows, one of the three being “iran agro 2008”, a pure agricultural event.

iran agro 2009 is the dedicated trade show for agricultural machinery and equipment and livestock and poultry production. Here, international and Iranian manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment present their latest technologies. 

100 exhibitors from 9 countries - including two official national pavilions from Spain and Turkey - had participated at iran agro 2008. The exhibitors came from Brazil, Canada, China, France, Iran, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Turkey.  

Supported by the Iranian ministries of jihad-agriculture and of industries and mines, iran agro 2009 will again take place in hall 44/1. Agricultural machinery and equipment manufacturers will also display on the state-of-the-art outdoor exhibition area right before hall 44 as well as between halls 44 and 38. (see groundplan)

iran agro 2008 was very successfully held at the Tehran International Fairgrounds from 25 to 28 May 2008. Exhibitors were satisfied with their business, and their discussions with 21,000 professional trade visitors, in addition to some 19,000 consumers visiting the event. Altogether estimated 40,000 visitors attended the show. -> Evaluation

611 exhibitors from 26 countries at iran agrofood 2008

iran agro 2008 took place concurrently with iran food+bev tec 2008 (297 exhibitors from 21 countries) and with iran food+hospitality 2008  (214 exhibitors from 8 countries), the three dedicated events building the frame of “iran agrofood 2008” with altogether 611 exhibitors.

Net exhibition area stood at 17,100 sqm, gross exhibition space at 38,000 sqm (both figures same as in 2007). A net exhibition area of 3,156 sqm was booked on the outdoor grounds.

The exhibitors originated from 26 countries, namely from Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.
